Course description:
The course in general will follow mostly single trails and some four wheel drive tracks in the area to the east of Alexandra. We include flowing fast single track, technical rock features for your cycling pleasure. The main MAXXIS Linger and Die XC course will be approx 20-30km of these luscious rock encrusted, briar-lined trails. We are planning on having timing that will allow us to have a ‘King of the Mountain’ and ‘Fast Downhill’ stage winners. Just a wee plan at the mo’.

You will be carrying SportIdent RFID cards on your right wrist and we use SportIdent Section Start & Finish RFID Controls for this events timing. Most are familiar with these but we’ll give a quick demo at briefing anyway.

A shorter rec/family course will feature softer climbs and descents so your kids will be tired after their loop with mum (or dad) needing a cold drink at the end. The $60 entry fee allows 1 adult rec rider (mum & dad and any kids you own) to ride with you. It’s about encouraging you and your kids… This event is the perfect Sunday wind down after a tough day at the Blossom Festival!footer2018
